Thread Paintings

A thread painting is when I take an image either from a photograph or an image that I’ve painted and re-create that image using fabric and thread. Depending on the size of the piece, it is a long detailed process. I change thread 100’s of times and use as many as 30-40 different threads on most projects.

Thank you for stopping by! I have been quilting for many years and have a wide range of styles and interests. My latest works involve thread painting, a process that involves taking an image and reproducing it using thread and fabric. See my Portfolio for some of my favorites.
