SCRAPPY SQUARES
I was challenged on a quilting website that I follow to cut up my scraps into 2.5” squares and use them in a quilt design. I did not get mine done in time for the challenge but I was still intrigued with using up my scraps. That may take several years yet but this is one of the tops that I designed using my EQ7 program. It could easily be done without EQ7 because the math is very easy – otherwise I could not do it. So almost all of this top is made using 2.5” squares of scraps. You could easily do it in a one or two color way or any variety of your choice. You could easily make the quilt larger if you want by adding more blocks but you’ll have to do the math for the borders. As hinted above…math is not my best skill. The quilt as shown is 73” x 82”.
